Amazon Fire TV Stick setup

How to install IPTV on Firestick

Works on Fire TV Stick, Stick 4K, 4K Max and Fire TV Cube. If your chosen player is in the Amazon Appstore, install it from there and skip to step 5.

Step-by-step installation

  1. 1

    Install Downloader

From the Fire TV home screen, open Find, search for “Downloader” and install the free Downloader app.

  2. 2

    Enable developer options

Go to Settings → My Fire TV. If you don't see Developer Options, open About and select your device name seven times until a message confirms developer mode is on.

  3. 3

    Allow apps from Downloader

In Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps, switch Downloader to On.

  4. 4

    Install your IPTV player

Open Downloader and enter the download address or code published by your chosen player's developer (support can tell you which to use). Install the app when prompted, then delete the installer file to save space.

  5. 5

Open the player and choose Xtream Codes

Launch the IPTV player and choose the option to add a playlist with an Xtream Codes (Xtream API) login.

  6. 6

    Enter your login

Type the server URL, username and password from your Best IPTV UK email exactly as shown, then save.

  7. 7

    Load channels and guide

Wait for the channel list, TV guide and on-demand library to load. This can take a minute the first time.

Common problems

Developer Options is missing

Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and select your device name seven times. Developer Options then appears in the My Fire TV menu.

“App not installed” error

Check Install unknown apps is on for Downloader, free up storage by removing unused apps, and download the installer again.

The app is slow on an older stick

Clear the app cache, hide channel groups you don't watch and limit the guide to fewer days in the app's settings.

More fixes in our buffering guide, or contact support with your device and app.
